Hot water: The wrong way to visit Yellowstone Camping requires plenty of preparation, especially when it comes to food. You won’t have the convenience of all your appliances and kitchen supplies, so it’s important to bring along practical items. A group of travelers to Yellowstone had different ideas, though. Instead of heating their own water to cook chicken, they hiked all the way to some of Yellowstone’s hottest hot springs to cook chicken in natural hot water. Unfortunately for them, this breaks several of the park’s rules, and rangers quickly put a stop to their culinary adventure. The hikers now owe fines and community service and have since been banned from the park. Imagine how it would have tasted, though.
