1 in 5 Americans Belonged to a Health Club in 2019, IHRSA Reports

Nearly 25 percent of Americans visited a health club in 2019, while more than 21 percent of Americans purchased a club membership, according to new data released by the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA). In total, club memberships have grown 28 percent since 2010.

Peloton Offers Free Bikes to Flywheel Customers After Flywheel Discontinues At-Home Business

Flywheel Sports is discontinuing its at-home bike business and refocusing on its studios in the wake of the company's infringement lawsuit settlement with competitor Peloton. Meanwhile, Flywheel and Peloton have agreed on a promotion that, through March 27, will allow displaced Flywheel customers to trade in their Flywheel bike for a refurbished Peloton bike at no extra cost.
