January is FINALLY over and now Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. I normally carry a not-insignificant-sized dislike for the holiday, but in these pandemic times, I’m holding on to any moment or day that I can make big or unusually exciting.
A good way to get in the spirit is to watch a romantic comedy or seven. So we have you covered. Senior reporter Todd Van Luling put together a list of rom-com-y movies across a variety of streaming platforms to get you in the spirit. You can check out the Golden Globe-nominated “Palm Springs” (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and “The Lovebirds,” which stars Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjani and is completely hysterical.
Either way, it’s a win/win, which is something we don’t get too often these days. So have at it, and may I be the first to say: Happy Valentine’s Day. |
