The heat is on, folks! This weekend looks to be a toasty, triple-digit one. Please, someone, just turn down the humidity! While our A/Cs are top of mind, here's a warning about a scam going around again. CPS Energy is warning customers about imposters calling and aying techs are on their way over to cut off your power, unless you pay your bill that's in default. Bottom line -- CPS doesn't take payments over the phone and will not call and threaten you. READ: CPS Energy impostors demand payment, threaten cutoff If you have a window AC, take a close look. If it has mold growing inside, it could be spreading more than cool air and actually making you and your family sick. READ: Is your window A/C making you sick? If you're annoyed by robocalls, especially the ones that look like they're from someone you know -- relief may actually be coming. The Federal Communications Commission voted Thursday to let phone companies block those pesky robocalls by default. Cross your fingers this will help. Have a great weekend, everyone. And, stay cool!
