Beverly Brown at podium. Rose Girouard wearing tiara.

Queen of the Castle: For 44 years Rose Girouard has been an essential member of the Dining Services waitstaff, a gracious and knowledgeable server and mentor to student workers. Her colleagues have long referred to her as Queen of the Castle, and at the dinner for BU’s 2017 honorary degree recipients on May 20, Beverly Brown designated Girouard as Queen of BU, complete with tiara, on behalf of a grateful University.
