Fish story: 9-year-old boy makes the catch of a lifetime Most people who love fishing have a story about the one that got away. A fish so massive they had no chance of reeling it in. But the Price family of Tennessee has never experienced this kind of loss, with three members of their family catching monster-sized catfish and sturgeons during their time at Old Hickory Lake. But Coye Price, the only son in the family, managed to catch something truly incredible: An 80-pound sturgeon from the depths of the water. Coye, who weighs only 55 pounds, fought with the beast for 15 minutes before hauling it onto the family boat. They weighed the fish to confirm its size, took some photos and threw it back in the water to live out its life. What, did you think they were going to eat the massive fish after catching it? That would only spoil the legend, now wouldn’t it? There’s always a bigger fish out there. Tap or click to watch a shark get swallowed by a giant fish in one bite. → |
