Cloudy but quiet weekend. The same mild + cloudy weather remains through the weekend. Some light snow could fall in far southeastern Minnesota and along the North Shore Friday afternoon through Saturday. Other parts of Minnesota will stay dry over the weekend. And for those of you who miss the wintry Minnesota weather, our chief meteorologist Paul Huttner says: We'll need a polar vortex in February to salvage average winter temperatures in much of Minnesota.
