Note from the Editorial Director | A CDI spiel | by Melissa Varnavas Some good friends of mine host an annual costume party for Halloween. My husband and I know many of the folks who go, but every year there’s a dozen new faces. By way of introduction, the question almost always comes up—what do you do? I usually say I’m a writer and that I work for a healthcare publishing company. People seem to understand that. They can internalize it, tell me what they do in the abbreviated manner that best fits their 30-second spiel, and we can commence with the spooky boogie-oogie. |

| Blog Highlight | Here's what's been published on the ACDIS Blog in the last week: Lessons learned at the ACDIS Physician Advisor Exchange Support throughout a transition to CDI Do you have a tip, story, or perspective to share with the broader ACDIS and CDI community? If you’re interested in writing a piece for the Blog, here are a couple guidelines for you: Length: Typically, 500-700 words. If your post is longer, we may break it into two posts for readability. Content: All things CDI (and coding too)! We love hearing about your experiences and the lessons you’ve learned about CDI along the way. Besides those two guidelines, all you have to do is submit your piece to ACDIS Editor Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org) and Associate Editor Carolyn Riel (criel@acdis.org). | |
