In addition to horrific breakdowns in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, young people were killed at an alarming rate in Baton Rouge. It's all part of our look back as we swap out calendars. Baton Rouge appears to be in line for another hockey team. Exhibition games downtown have drawn decent crowds, so much so that there may finally be a successor to the Kingfish. Bogalusa hit a dismal mark for the year. It's had another homicide. |
