Today's nomination is a husband-and-wife team dedicated to bringing California-like cronyism and self-dealing to a Mile High level. This team lined their pockets while helping fleece the pockets of hard-working taxpayers.
Our next nomination goes to United States Representative Brittany Patterson and her husband, Ian Silverii, for their totally above-board and definitely not questionable sweetheart deal given to them by their fellow Democrat Jefferson County commissioners. They received a $340,000 contract to help strategize how to con Jeffco voters into giving up their TABOR refunds… forever.
This team is a triple threat. They use political connections to get sweetheart deals. They get elected officials to use taxpayer money to scam voters to give up even more taxpayer money. And while profiting off at all, we're able to permanently remove one of Colorado’s largest counties' spending limits forever.
This is true California politics at its best.
