The surprising popularity of Naval's tweetstorm and follow-up podcast (first shared with you three weeks ago in these updates) about wealth building has spurred a flurry of knock-off attempts by other authors. Worth noting is how each author's version of wealth strategy is like the Three Blind Men and the Elephant parable where each guru deliver's his unique spin on the subject biased by the asset class he knows best, but none understand the full elephant. For Naval it was the business asset class, and for Meb it's paper assets. (I'm still waiting for someone to send me the real estate version - hint, hint.) I have a cattle dog mix, so I watched this video multiple times with amazement. Pay special attention to the slow motion replay at the end showing Pink's head almost motionless as she blows through the pylons like they're not even there. Unbelievable! It's a thing of beauty to see! It's no secret that I despise how government policy has been intentionally manipulating the financial markets. (See my post published within one day of the all-time risk adjusted high - more relevant today than when it was published two years ago.) So when one of my Expectancy Wealth Planning course students shared this comic - the Keynesian Therapist - I laughed out loud. I loved it! My 17 year old wondered what the heck was so funny this morning. I showed her the comic. She didn't get it. (But you will.)
