The labor market showed strong gains in the early part of this year, with job openings increasing by 411,000 to 7 million, according to the Labor Department's monthly Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey. These gains, though, have been overshadowed by the coronavirus pandemic, which economists say has disrupted the economy and will likely lead to a recession in the second quarter of the year. Google puts the breaks on Chrome, Chrome OS releases Google has announced that it is pausing upcoming Chrome and Chrome OS releases "due to adjusted work schedules" amid the COVID-10 pandemic.
