Both the Australian Greens and a network expert who was associated with the initial stages of the national broadband network rollout have slammed the Government’s new NBN report, with the expert stating that it is seriously flawed.

Meanwhile, in 2018 Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull does not have to wait until 2026 to get 49Mbps. He has 100Mbps connections to the NBN at his home in Point Piper and at Kirribilli House.

Networking equipment manufacturer Netgear has been hit with severe penalties by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for issuing warranties which mislead customers over remedies for faulty products.
