✈️ How To Avoid Delayed Flights By Booking Carefully |
Clark released his four rules to avoid chaos when flying two years ago. In case you missed it, here they are: |
Fly nonstop. Book early flights. Never check bags. Consider paying to skip lines.
|
“Delays cascade through the day,” Clark says, explaining why you should fly early. |
New data firmly backs Clark’s claim. According to the latest report from the United States Department of Transportation, the hour between 6 and 7 a.m. was the least likely to produce delayed flights (14%). |
Every hour after 7 a.m., the percentage of delayed flights grows, peaking at 8 to 9 p.m. (50%+). That’s a remarkable difference of 36%. |
Really late takeoffs from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. saw 28% of flights delayed on limited data. |
The conclusion is clear: If you want to avoid flight delays, book as early in the day as possible. |
