5 BULLISH CHARTS THAT NEED YOUR ATTENTION 👀

It feels safe to say that the market has entered ‘grind-sideways’ mode.

Which is boring as hell…but at this point, we’ll happily take ‘boring’ over ‘terrifying’.

That said – we ain’t about to settle. We want to stay excited. 

So we dug up 5 bullish charts that point to positive forward momentum/outcomes, spanning across: fundamentals, major accumulation, shorts, memecoins, and a sector that’s quietly been killing it.

Let’s jump on in! 

1/ Fundamentals are pumping

Apparently no one told Circle ($USDC) and Tether ($USDT) that there’s been a market pullback – both tokens are growing in supply.

Now, here’s why that’s exciting: stablecoin providers tend to increase their circulating supply in preparation for future growth…

Are these stablecoin providers seeing growth on the horizon? At the rates they’re printing, all signs point to yes. 🤝

2/ $ETH whales are accumulating

The $ETH whales are back baaaby! Wallets holding 10,000-100,000 $ETH hit their highest numbers since early 2023.

And if the chart below isn’t enough to prove it – take it from us, we’ve personally seen whales gobbling up $ETH on Milk Road Swap over the past week.

3/ $ETH shorts are accumulating

$ETH shorts just reached ‘extreme’ levels. Now, I know it feels as though this totally counteracts that last chart, but there’s a big, shiny silver lining here, and that is:

The potential for short liquidations.

If $ETH’s price rebounds, it will force many of these shorts into liquidation. And when shorts get liquidated, it creates forced buying pressure!

…which tends to push the price up even further…which then liquidates even more shorts…pushing the price higher…and so on.

$ETH whales buying hand over fist + shorts at ‘extreme’ levels = potential price pump!

4/ Memecoin mania is finding its way to Base?

~170k memecoins were launched on Base last week. 

For context, ~185k tokens were launched on Pump Dot Fun (the Solana-based memecoin launchpad/market leader) in the same timeframe.

The degen/animal spirits may be down…but not out.

5/ Real World Assets (RWAs) are hovering around all-time highs

It looks like RWAs are in the same boat as stablecoins (no one told them that the market was pulling back — heck, they’ve been spiking of late).

RWAs are the darling of TradFi (‘cause they bring traditional assets onchain, making them faster/cheaper to exchange, and enable 24/7 trading).

TradFi continuing to build onchain = confidence.

Now, on that last point…

The growth of RWAs is great to see!

But they have one big/glaring problem stopping deep pocketed investors buying them on the open market.

…but that problem may soon be solved.

REGULATORY COMPLIANT TRADING OF RWAS IS NOW POSSIBLE IN THE US 💪

Imagine a fully stocked vending machine with its collection trays welded shut.

That’s kind of what it’s like to trade RWAs in the US right now. 

There’s $18B worth of RWAs sitting onchain, primed and ready to be traded…but they can’t be accessed by most people.

And the issue lies in regulation. 

To trade traditional assets, each customer needs to submit ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) documents (proof of address, name, date of birth, etc.).

But to trade onchain, you don’t need to do any of that – as long as you have a wallet with some funds on it, you can trade anonymously via decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

Because of that, KYC infrastructure never really got baked-in to crypto.

But as of today, that’s changing. 👇

Coinbase’s Verified Liquidity Pools is nerd talk for: a place where only verified (KYC’d) customers can trade onchain.

And sure – right now, the trading pairs are as plain as dry toast – $EURC-$USDC, $ETH-$USDC, $ETH-$cbBTC, $USDC-$cbBTC, and $ETH-$cbETH…

But that’s not the point. The big change here is in KYC infrastructure. 

Now that this is in place, Coinbase has the ability to grant users regulation-compliant access to RWAs (all on decentralized rails).

Translation: they’ll be able to support the trading of stocks, onchain, and from within their own platform.

We’re talking 24/7 trading, dirt cheap fees, and lightning fast trading of stocks – all built on top of Base/Ethereum.

Here’s the math on that:

More access to a greater number of assets + a better/faster/cheaper system = a money magnet.
