With the IBC 2017 quickly approaching, we are excited to announce our most recent news for this year’s show – from product demonstrations, to updated software suites. At our IBC booth 7.F06, we will be previewing the new features of our upcoming P5 Software Suite version 5.5, including:

• Backup to the Cloud for P5 Backup
• Client-to-Client sync option for P5 Synchronize
• Choice between two archiving modes for the Cloud for P5 Archive: 
  – Pool-Format: established, flexible features (cloning, migration, etc.)
  – Object-Format: single-file access & share-ability for cooperative workflows
• Amazon S3 and Glacier, Generic S3 and Backblaze (B2) support
• Automatic backup of Archive indexes
• Job inventory sent as e-mail attachment for auditing purposes
• Support for Archive to the Cloud for Windows, FreeBSD and Linux
• Additional features and functionalities in the CLI (preview, clip handling, sorting and identifying cloned volume sets)

This year, our live setups include Sonnet's Echo 15+, as well as mLogic’s mTape linked to a Mac running Archiware P5 using a Thunderbolt connector. Additionally, we will be connecting Spectra Logic's LTO tape library to a Mac using an ATTO ThunderLink Thunderbolt to Fibre Channel converter.
