Turner Prize-winner Lubaina Himid has taken centre stage at the Tate Modern in the form of a large-scale exhibition, which features recent work and highlights from the artist and activist's long career. Inspired by Himid's interest in theatre, it's structured as a series of scenes, in which viewers are invited to participate. You've got until 2 October to see it.

John Soane's Grade I listed Pitzhanger Manor is looking dreamier than ever, now that it's home to a new solo exhibition by Rana Begum. Dappled Light plays with the perception of light, colour and form, presented in dialogue with the venue's interiors. Highlights include a woodland-inspired video work and the ethereal installation pictured left. Runs until 22 September.
