Good morning! It begins. A major winter storm has its sights on Minnesota . By the time it's all over, more than a foot of snow could be on the ground in parts of the south metro. Expect about 6 inches in Minneapolis and St. Paul. The northern suburbs and northern Minnesota might not see much at all. McNally Smith came within 'hair's breadth' of reopening

After McNally Smith College of Music closed in late December, an effort to reopen the school as a nonprofit continued. But the deal fell through at the eleventh hour.
