Shrewsbury dining
 
Boston-based Burtons Grill & Bar will be bringing a location to Shrewsbury as part of plans to add seven locations in the next two years. It is unclear whether the location will be a Burton Grill & Bar or a Red Heat Tavern, but it would be the company’s third location in Massachusetts.
 
1 million pies
 
Construction has begun on a new Table Talk Pies factory in Worcester. Once completed, this facility will produce upwards of 1 million pies a week. The new location keeps the Worcester staple in the city while creating 50 jobs.
 
Nursing homes
 
Twelve out of 74 Central Massachusetts nursing homes received top care quality rankings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, which are designed to help consumers, families and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily.
