Good morning, Marketer, have you lost the thread? Or rather, have you found a new home on Threads, Meta’s Instagram-related answer to Twitter? Some brands have already. Brands reportedly spotted on the new platform include Netflix, Discovery and Salomon — along with some big-name influencers. Perhaps more importantly to those of us without such big names, people we know and follow seem to be giving Threads at least a try. Threads doesn’t yet have ads, but of course there are many other ways for brands to engage with users other than advertising at them.
