WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 2025 TODAY: Morning Clouds to Sun Highs: 80-85 Winds: North 5-10 mph Rounding out the month of April with continued warmer than average highs in the 80s. You'll feel the change out the door with warm and humid conditions to start the day. It's damp following overnight rain and storms and a lingering shower chance is possible through 8 a.m. Skies will gradually clear, as winds shift out of the north allowing humidity levels to fall. Beautiful conditions continue this evening with the sun setting at 8 p.m. for the first time this year. The sun will set after 8 p.m. through mid August. TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy Lows: 55-61 Winds: Northeast 5 mph Dry and comfortably cool weather is expected overnight with lows falling into the 50s. THURSDAY: Partly Sunny Isolated PM Thunderstorms Highs: 78-84 Winds: Southeast 5-10 mph We'll kick off the month of May with some nice weather. It will be a pleasant and cooler morning followed by a warm afternoon with highs on either side of 80 degrees. Humidity levels will slowly increase late in the day with a few isolated thunderstorms bubbling up during the afternoon and/or evening hours. Higher rain and storm chances are expected in our far north and western suburbs.
FRIDAY: Partly Sunny Isolated PM Thunderstorms Highs: 82-86 Winds: Southwest 10-15, Gusts 25 mph Warm and breezy weather rounds out the week with highs remaining in the 80s. It will have a summery feel with moderate humidity. A highly isolated shower or storm is possible during the afternoon and early evening with the heating of the day, but many neighborhoods will remain totally dry.
