Wind gusts to 35 mph will add an extra chill to the area. TONIGHT: Mainly Clear Lows: 17-22 Winds: Northwest 10-15, Gusts 20 mph It will be another bitterly cold night with patchy ice redeveloping. The wind will gradually ease towards sunrise, but plan for wind-chills in the low teens and single digits tonight. FRIDAY: Partly to Mostly Cloudy Late PM Snow Possible Highs: 30-35 Winds: Northwest 5-15 mph Breezy winds in the morning will ease with increasing clouds during the day ahead of our next weather maker. Forecast trends show this storm moving a bit farther to the south, however, it still needs to be monitored closely. Accumulating snow is possible, however, it is not expected to be as disruptive as the storm earlier this week. SATURDAY: Pre-Dawn Light Snow Ends Afternoon Clearing Highs: near 40 Winds: Northwest 10-15, Gusts to 20 mph First Alert Weather continues to track a weather maker that is set to skirt to the south, with its northing fringe clipping the Washington, DC area. While snow may accumulate for some, the storm will quickly exit the Mid-Atlantic midday with added afternoon sun. SUNDAY: Sunny and Cold Highs: near 40 Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph It will be a sunny and cold end to the weekend with highs ranging from the lower to middle 30s.
