Overall today will be cooler, as a slow moving cold front crosses the area. Plan for overcast skies and areas of rain during the early morning hours. Skies will clear from west to east late morning through the afternoon with highs in the 80s. Humidity levels will remain high with dew point temperatures in the low 70s. There is a highly isolated chance for a late evening shower or thunderstorm, especially north and west, as the front clears the area.
TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy to Mainly Clear Lows: 68-73 Winds: Light Any wet weather will end before midnight with dry and comfortable weather expected overnight. Low temperatures will fall into the upper 60s in the suburbs and low 70s downtown. THURSDAY: Mostly Sunny Highs: near 90 Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph A very comfortable morning will give way to a sunny and seasonably hot afternoon with highs around 90 degrees. Lower humidity is expected with dewpoint temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Some local guidance tries to squeeze out a rogue shower or storm during the afternoon and evening hours, as another cold front drops south ushering in even lower humidity for the Fourth of July.
