Friday will likely be the hottest day of the year, so far, with afternoon highs reaching the low 90s in some neighborhoods. With humidity, feels-like temperatures may near the mid 90s. Since we haven't had temperatures this high in a while, our team is on a Heat Alert for the day. There is also the risk of rain and storms for the second half of the day, as a cold front approaches.
