Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon over the mountains and we'll have to see if they hold together, as they move east towards D.C. late afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction Center has areas along and west of Route 15 in the 'Marginal' risk category for storms that could contain damaging winds and locally heavy rain. TONIGHT: Mostly Cloudy, Humid Chance Showers, Storms Lows: 67-71 Winds: South 5 mph Warm and muggy conditions are expected overnight with low temperatures likely to stay above 70 degrees overnight. Isolated showers and storms are possible. SATURDAY: Mostly to Partly Cloudy Morning Rain, Isolated PM Storms Highs: 78-83 Winds: SW to NW 5-10+ mph Our next weather maker will approach bringing a chance for wet weather. Latest guidance brings the highest rain chances during the morning hours. Skies will brighten a bit for the afternoon with highs on either side of 80 degrees. An isolated shower or storm is possible during the afternoon, but most will stay rain-free. This is great news for the World Pride Parade happening between 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.
