We are currently in our longest dry-streak on record, so there is an elevated risk of fires spreading due to the dry weather, low humidity, and gusty winds. Outdoor burning is discouraged and cigarette butts should be fully extinguished before disposing. The wind will ease this evening with temperatures falling into the 60s and 50s during the evening hours. TONIGHT: Mainly Clear Lows: 40-50 Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph It will be a noticeably colder night with temperatures falling into the 40s for most under clear skies. SATURDAY: Mostly Sunny Highs: Around 60 Winds: Northeast 5-10 mph After a crisp start in the 40s, sunshine will help temperatures climb into the upper 50s to low 60s by the afternoon. While it will be noticeably cooler than recent days, it will be more seasonal for early November. SUNDAY: Cloudy and Cool Afternoon/Evening Rain Highs: 56-59 Winds: South 5-10 mph It will be another cold morning with temperatures in the upper 30s in our western suburbs to mid 40s downtown. Plan for a cloudy and cool day with highs back into the upper 50s to low 60s. Our next weather maker will bring some welcome rain to the area by the afternoon and evening hours.
