Michoud layoffs: Nearly 300 workers at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility have been laid off. The job cuts come after Syncom Space Services, which provided operations and facilities maintenance at Michoud and the nearby Stennis Space Center, lost its contract with NASA.
