Following yesterday's Government announcement regarding social distancing and the current COVID-19 outbreak, I wanted to get in touch to inform you of our plans and most importantly, wish you, your family, friends, and colleagues safety and security in these unprecedented times.
I would like to assure you that Gullivers have taken all required measures to ensure the health and well being of our staff while still remaining open for business as usual. Our office is now closed, however we've migrated our office staff to home working as of last week and our dedicated sales and operations departments are still available over the phone and via email as normal, with our website fully functioning to receive queries, enquiries and bookings at your convenience.
Customer care is our top priority and during such uncertain times I want to ensure that you, our customers, feel certain that your travel bookings are in safe hands. As the UK's leading multi-sports tour operator, we are receiving regular updates from ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents), alongside working closely with our sister companies within the Travelopia Group and official governing bodies to ensure we have the most up-to-date information available to answer your questions.
I'm delighted that these relationships with professional bodies guarantee our standards of trading practice and give you financial security upon booking during these difficult times.
We're working extremely hard behind the scenes to prepare for the rescheduling of postponed events and are looking ahead to the exciting sporting events coming up in the rest of 2020 and in to 2021.
