A poetic ode to you

Google announced at today's I/O 2023 event that chatbot-style answers are making their way to your search experience.

Users in the US will soon gain access to an experimental version of Google's web search, infused with the power of ChatGPT-style text generation. What does this mean for us as tech lovers and friends? I’m not sure yet and I don’t know that anyone is. As the top of the heap when it comes to search, Google is no stranger to innovation, and with the challenge of AI (see my colleague Holly Quinn's article below for more), it's raising the bar even higher.

Are tech enthusiasts in Baltimore ready for this level of integration? With the prospect of faster and possibly more efficient answers at their fingertips, it's safe to say that excitement might be in the air. As the boundaries of search continue to expand, I’m eagerly anticipating the impact this development will have on our digital lives. As always, let us know your thoughts.
