Dear Friend,

Welcome back to my Week in Review newsletter. Please remember to follow me on Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube for regular updates on how I am serving the people of South Carolina!

Tomorrow, we celebrate Carolina Day–a day to honor the courage of South Carolinians who, in 1776, stood their ground at the Battle of Sullivan’s Island. Carolina Day is a chance to celebrate not just a battle won, but the pride, patriotism, and perseverance that define our state.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

— Joshua 1:9

Treasury’s orders are a direct result of the authorities provided by the FEND Off Fentanyl Act, legislation I led to target the China-Mexico fentanyl supply chain.

“I want to set a timeline … of seeing the market structure completed before the end of September,” Scott said Thursday. “I think that is a realistic expectation.”
