Never forget. As we witness the beginnings of a peaceful transition of power, we must never forget that four years ago there was a deadly insurrection at the United States Capitol. It happened at the behest of a sitting U.S. President so that he could overturn an election and hold onto the White House. He is about to return to office with an oath of revenge on those who sought to bring him to justice – and with a democracy-killing agenda called Project 2025. Let’s fight back. Keep an eye on our website (jcdemocrats.org). In the coming weeks, we’ll provide suggestions on how you can help fight back against Trump’s Project 2025 agenda. Jeff Merkley, and Sen. Ron Wyden. Let your representatives in Salem hear from you, too. Let them know what you’d like to see from the upcoming legislative session.
