This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful to our visitors who come through our doors each year and visit us online to learn more about artworks in our collection, engage with one of our many ⁠special exhibitions, attend a ⁠talk or workshop, and spend time with family and friends. I am grateful to the artists and makers whose works we are privileged to display, and I am grateful for the staff at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and its Renwick Gallery who make it all possible.

Art can be a vehicle for discourse, inviting viewers to engage, reflect, and spark conversations that bridge cultures. SAAM is proud to represent our nation and bring people together. For that, I’m thankful for your support each and every day of the year.
