| Our community came together in support of public media. |
| Dear John,
Thanks to the incredible support of over 6,000 KQED members in our May drive, we were able to raise critical funds for our public, community-driven programming for the year ahead. Though we fell $4,000 short of our goal, we are so grateful to all who showed support for independent and local public media. We couldn’t have done it without you.
The funds raised from this campaign will help us continue to provide publicly accessible, fact-driven stories amplifying local culture, community voices and untold histories of the greater Bay Area.
As we move forward, I want to emphasize the importance of giving to local public media organizations like KQED: Member support allows us to remain independent, highlight underrepresented voices in our region and empower informed decision-making.
