Top electronics brands are gathering in Vegas this week to show off their brightest, highest-def screens, their speediest chips and smartest smart home appliances. What does this all mean for marketers outside of consumer electronics? We’ll be watching closely for two things. First, what changes in smart TVs will impact digital marketing’s fast-growing channel, CTV? Roku’s new line of branded TVs is a clue to where the race begins — at the device level. Second, what devices throughout the home will encourage new behaviors and open up new opportunities for marketers? The latest in Samsung’s Bespoke line of connected fridges will have 32-inch screens on the door, almost double the size of previous models.
