Dear John, I am very excited today to share a phenomenal success story and one that impacts me personally. I am pleased to announce that we have a new president at Ziglar, Inc. On January 1, Evan Desjardins became our new president, which is allowing me as the CEO to focus on what I love and what I do best: write, speak, coach, and create a vision for the future of Ziglar. That last sentence gives me God-bumps. I can remember countless times Dad saying how grateful he was that I was running the day-to-day activities of the company so that all he had to do was write books and make speeches. I thought he was crazy! Now I am the same way, and I am so grateful that Evan is running the day-to-day business of the company! Our relationship with Evan began just over three years ago, when he came through our Ziglar Legacy Certification program. He had a big dream of helping people, but he wasn’t sure how God wanted him to live out his dream. At ZLC he realized that if he grew and systemized his existing business – RoundTable Technology -- this would give him both the time freedom and financial freedom to follow his dreams. Because of this, Evan joined our Inner Circle Coaching program for small business owners with Howard Partridge, Ziglar’s exclusive small business coach, and began a mission to systemize RoundTable Technology. It took Evan about a year to fully implement the systems in marketing, sales, operations, administration, and leadership, but the results were well worth it – over $458,000 in increased revenue! Over that year our friendship and respect for Evan began to grow as he put into practice every aspect of the core Ziglar philosophy and the business systems that we teach. Then, about 18 months ago, we asked Evan to take over our Ziglar back office and cloud-based programs, and our website. Immediately, Evan and his team improved every area of our online needs and saved us over $3,000 per month in expenses and service costs! Knowing that Evan had created a turnkey and systemized business that could be run from anywhere, we started “hinting” that he should move his family from Maine to Texas and just office out of Ziglar HQ. At the same time, Evan was feeling a nudge from God to help Ziglar in some way, and his wife, Crystal, was fully supportive and ready to enjoy some good Texas warm weather. January 1, 2017, marked the end of the longest job interview in Ziglar history – over three years! Evan is a relentless implementer and business systems expert who is hard at work upgrading the systems at Ziglar HQ so that we can scale our business and fulfill the mission of our company! Welcome aboard Evan! Because, You are Born To Win and You are Living To Win! Tom P.S. Evan is also a published author. His success story is featured in this brand-new book on Amazon: Phenomenal Success Stories – From Survival to Significance. P.P.S.
