Breaking the Blue Wall of Silence
On Friday, a judge sentenced former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin to 22 and a half years in prison for the murder of George Floyd. The judge wrote Chauvin “abused his position of trust and authority.” Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and Neal Katyal, law professor at Georgetown, helped lead the prosecution against Chauvin.
