There's nothing like a rainy day to remind you how lucky you are to live in New York. Sure that may seem a difficult thing when accidentally stepping in a puddle that's so deep it's basically a portal to another dimension, but just think about it - somewhere out there today are hundreds of from-far-away families that have taken time off of work and spent thousands of dollars to schlep all the way here to see the city for the first time... and this is the day they get.

You, however, have counted many days wandering these streets without being sprayed by passing taxis, when the sun is shining and the flowers blooming.
