As you have probably heard, after more than 16 years with ABC Radio Perth – I’ve decided to hang up the headphones and turn off the mic.
I’ve loved this job better than any I have ever held. I’ve tried to do what I do with integrity and fairness. And all those times I’ve asked you to call me and tell me a story? I have done so because I’ve always wanted to hear it.
I hope too I’ve kept you company – particularly during life’s challenging times or when we as a community have been anxious about a pandemic or an emergency fire.
I keep using the word privilege because that is what it is. And a responsibility too, but I owe you, the loyal ABC audience, a debt of gratitude.
