Two indicted: A federal grand jury has indicted two people in connection with the 2020 killing of Cornelius Garrison, who allegedly staged dozens of crashes as part of a criminal network of insurance scammers before he began cooperating with investigators. John Simerman has the story. Education poll: A majority of Louisiana voters have a negative view of the state’s public schools and support giving parents money for private school. Patrick Wall has the details on a new poll that suggests most are on board with Gov. Jeff Landry's plans to change the educational system. Insurance roundup: Landry signed bills Tuesday that make it easier for insurance companies to drop policyholders, raise rates and have more time to pay claims after a storm. The goal is to make the state more attractive to insurers, which Republican lawmakers say will ultimately benefit policyholders. Sam Karlin has this report.
