Performing 'Wonderful Life' with Martynas Levickis in Vilnius - watch it before it goes live tomorrow

Hi

I've spent so much time "in the cave" in the early part of this year, writing new music and quietly putting together a new band. Now, we're easing into the swing of summer festival season, having already played two beautiful shows in England and Norway, and I must say it's been really lovely to reconnect.

As an artist, I have always been curious about the musical cultures of the world we live in and whenever possible I try and find ways to engage with local musicians to deepen my understanding. Given we have shows on the horizon in Kaunas and Palanga, two cities in the gorgeous country of Lithuania, I travelled there a few weeks ago to collaborate with local recording artist Martynas Levickis. Martynas is a virtuosic accordionist, who started playing music at the age of 3, and is a world-renowned ambassador for his instrument.

Martynas and I decided to create our own special version of 'Wonderful Life' which we performed in the Vilnius University Library, which is the oldest academic library in Lithuania.

We wanted to share this filmed recording with you before it goes live publicly tomorrow. You can watch it on my YouTube channel at this private link.

I will be playing a select set of shows this summer with my band, and we really look forward to see many of your smiling faces in the crowds! Our full set of summer tour dates are:
