Our community celebrated NPR's 50th birthday in style and helped us reach our goal

Last Saturday we kicked off a quick, three-day fundraiser on KQED Public Radio to make up for missing our goal in May. I’m happy to announce that we reached our goal!
1,636 members of our Northern California community came through in a big way for us and helped us commemorate NPR’s 50th birthday in style. It feels great to know that we are supported by so many and to be able to celebrate a huge milestone with everyone in the Bay Area.
Thank you for listening to, watching and reading KQED and here’s to another 50 years of NPR!
