For months, our volunteers have been on the front lines. This week, our work was recognized—but there is still so much to do. ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏
You often hear from us about the latest events in Israel—especially those related to the war, terror attacks, and the tragic loss of life. We are committed to protecting the people of Israel and upholding the dignity of those taken from us. This week, it was our honor to be recognized in the Knesset for our unwavering efforts. Led by MK Galit Distel Atbaryan, the event paid tribute to humanitarian organizations that have worked tirelessly during these difficult times. Among the distinguished guests was Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau, who joined leaders and volunteers from various emergency response organizations. Zaka Tel-Aviv was acknowledged for our extensive work since October 7—operating in the hardest-hit areas, assisting forensic teams, and ensuring that every victim receives the dignity they deserve. Our CEO, Tzvi Hassid, accepted the award on behalf of our volunteers, stating: |
| "Zaka Tel-Aviv is there in the toughest moments—on the front lines of the massacred communities, at the Shura Camp, and at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine. For months, we have worked to uphold the dignity of those taken from us. Over 1,000 victims passed through our hands, and our mission has never been more vital." |
| This recognition is a reminder of the critical work we do every single day. While we deeply appreciate the honor, our mission continues. Israel still faces immense challenges, and we must remain ready to respond. Support our work. |
| Your support ensures we can continue this essential work, standing strong for Israel and its people. |
