All aboard for a summer of vintage family fun
with London Transport Museum!

If the sound of getting up close and personal to classic tube trains and vintage buses fires up your family's engines, then make sure you have the London Transport Museum Depot's first ever family summer season circled in your diaries!

Between 19-23 and 26-30 August 2020, the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton flings open its doors for 10 special days, offering young visitors (and big kids too!) a rare peek into the museum's epic and quirky collection. Home to over 320,000 fascinating artefacts, the Depot is a true transport treasure trove with 1938 Stock Tube trains, prototype Routemasters, vintage signs, classic maps and plenty more just waiting to be explored. You can even ride the Miniature Railway and discover the story of the yellow Victorian 'horse bus' dating from 1881!

With family-friendly trails, craft kits, take-home activities and of course rigorous safety measures in place, it's an action-packed day out this summer holiday after months spent in lockdown. Join the fun and book your tickets today.

Fine Dining, Delivered
We visited high-end Indian restaurant, Kutir, just before lockdown and it was great - so we're relieved/thrilled to see they've swivelled to delivery. From chef Rohit Ghai, choose from brilliant standalone dishes or 'expedition' tasting menus for two, and settle in for some special occasion food, sped to your door.
