Stepping in: Some national companies who have typically sponsored Pride events are taking a pass this year. But organizers say many local businesses and civic groups have stepped in to fill the gap. Sophie Kasakove has the story.
Ain't over yet: The Louisiana Senate spiked a controversial bill that drugstore giant CVS said would force it to pull out of the state. Now Gov. Jeff Landry says he'll call a special session to tackle the issue at the center of the bill, which was killed with just an hour left in the session. Alyse Pfeil and Meghan Friedmann have the details.
Sipp's shack: For years, an 82-year-old New Orleans man has lived in a homemade shack and tended his garden along the former railroad tracks now home to the Lafitte Greenway. But after multiple warnings, Fred Sipp's ramshackle abode had to be taken down. Doug MacCash has the story.
