| A year after an angry mob stormed the U.S. Capitol where Congress was certifying the presidential election results, it's notable how much hasn't changed. | School bus service in Minneapolis and St. Paul is disrupted amid severe driver shortage. Minneapolis schools are asking students to dress warm for the cold snap as they expect a longer wait for their buses. Parents with kids at St. Paul schools are told to plan an alternative transportation in case their bus route is canceled. Mask up, Twin Cities! New rules mandating mask-wearing in most public indoor spaces are going into effect in Minneapolis and St. Paul at 5 p.m. today. Gov. Tim Walz says while he supports the cities' decisions, he is not considering a statewide mandate for masking. What a voicemail criticizing a news anchor for being "very Asian" has led to. Michelle Li, an anchor at KSDK-TV, received an outpouring of support from around the world after a viewer criticized her for “being very Asian” and told her to “keep her Korean to herself.” Li and Gia Vang, who is Hmong and an anchor on KARE in Minneapolis, are offering a line of merchandise with the logo “Very Asian” with proceeds going to the Asian American Journalists Association. | |
