A50 | Staffordshire | Westbound | Vehicle Recovery | Road Closed The A50 is currently closed between the A521 and the B5029 (Blythe Bridge) for recovery of an HGV following an earlier fire. Staffordshire police have installed a diversion route using local roads. For traffic approaching the closure locally, you are advised to expect disruption with extra journey time and you may wish to re-route or delay your journey. If travelling towards this area from further afield, you may wish to consider an alternative route, allow extra travel time and follow guidance from our on-road variable message signs and media.
