The UAE is expected to see further rainfall, hail and strong winds this week, according to official weather forecasts. The UAE is affected by an extension of a surface low pressure from the Red Sea accompanied with humid Southeasterly winds from Wednesday evening to Thursday, according to the latest weather update issued by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi’s inaugural DRIFTx concluded with the consensus that flying taxis, autonomous cars, and sea gliders will be a popular mode of transport in the UAE and globally, much sooner than expected. The event convened industry titans, startups, and mobility leaders from across the world, firmly reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s emergence as a global hub for smart and autonomous mobility.

In addition, Yas Island Abu Dhabi, the region’s leading leisure and entertainment destination, has appointed multi-talented Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds as its newest Chief Island Officer (CIO). The announcement concludes a week-long suspense from a cryptic trailer video on Yas Island’s Instagram page featuring a mystery man.

In other news, Saudi citizens can travel to Honduras without a visa, according to a report by state-run SPA news agency. The Government of the Republic of Honduras has announced a visa exemption for Saudi Arabian citizens visiting Honduras for various purposes.

Ahead of the highly anticipated Arabian Business Leadership Summit, one of the event’s confirmed speakers, Lyvely CEO Farah Zafar, shared her philosophy on what it takes to be a successful leader in today’s ever-evolving business landscape.
