What fonts do you use in briefs and other docs?

Last week, the Virginia Supreme Court added nine options to its list of acceptable fonts (PDF). Previously, only Arial, Courier or Verdana were allowed. Now, you can “go crazy with Tahoma or Times New Roman!” tweeted Lee Berlik, a Reston, Virginia, lawyer.

So this week, we’d like to ask you. What fonts do you use in briefs and other professional correspondence? Are your brief options limited by your own jurisdiction? What are your favorite fonts and why?
