Happy 2022!
If the joy Elmo's pettiness is bringing the internet is any indication of how this year will go, I'm here for it.
But y'all, it's only been a week and what a week it's been. In just the past six days, we've seen a record number cases of the COVID-19 omicron variant (which led to the cancellation of both the Grammys and Sundance), Antonio Brown stripping off his uniform and quitting mid-game, and Tristan Thompson is apparently sorry again, chile.
What a year this week has been. At least we have Michelle Obama on the final season premiere of 'black-ish' and the hilarious Quinta Brunson in Abbott Elementary to look forward to this month!
But serious, I'm proud of us. We made it to another year that hopefully doesn't end up just being 2020, too. (Get it?)
