ABC announces cuts to jobs and programs to deal with budget shortfall

The national broadcaster has revealed it will slash up to 250 jobs across every division of the ABC. The 7.45am radio news bulletin will be cut, ABC Life staff reduced and some programs reviewed as part of a major overhaul to deal with a budget shortfall of $84 million.
